Comments for Gregorie Howard’s new version...NEW SINGLE
"RISE"
Leroy Jones - jazz trumpet - New Orleans, formerly Harry Connick Jr Big band.)
“Listening to the track now. I like it. Your flugelhorn sound is superb, great groove and the mix is definitely happenin'! I also dig the way you bend those notes at the end... I think it's even better than the original version by Herb Albert. Right on my brother... Lots of success with the single. I'd buy it...”

“Hey Gregorie good job with the Rise track. You made your horn sounds very smooth. I am a huge fan of the original so I am a hard sell on a remake but good work my friend!!”

"I like your version of 'Rise'. Its a great song and has been out there for years and the original still gets good airplay but there is always room for another version.”

G. Man,
Always was a fan of Herb's sound, and I think it is great you chose to cover one of his classics but put your own spin on it. Cover tunes can be tricky, but an artist who brings his own interpretation into the production (like you did) makes them a joy to listen to!
